NIFA Meeting: Wood Carving

Prior to the NIFA Board Meeting, local expert Marie McDonough of Marie's Wood Carvings of Stockton will demonstrate her work and discuss her business.  Having opened her shop this summer, Marie uses abrasive carving to create interesting figures and articles out of wood that are available in her store.  Also, she gives lessons in the shop directly behind the store.  It's another way to use and enjoy wood.  The carving process will be demonstrated.

Following Marie McDonough's presentation, the NIFA board will continue to refine this year's schedule of events.  As always, this meeting is open to the public.
