NIFA Family and Member Picnic 2025

What: NIFA Picnic and Woodland Walk

When: June 3rd at 6:00 p.m., ( rain or shine)

Where: Oakdale Nature Preserve, Freeport (large open-air shelter) 4433 South Cranes Grove Road

Details: We hope you join us for a fun evening with fellow members. We will talk about news within NIFA and the Forestry Community. We will have a simple meal (brats, chips, a sweet treat, water and lemonade). No Alcohol is allowed in the Park! You are welcome to donate at the event to help off-set our costs.

Following the dinner we will have a short walk in the park and discuss general forestry practices, invasive, and tree identification, as well as answer questions you might have.
